Printed Perfection by Dona Jo

Dona Jo is known for our unique and bright prints! One of our newest ventures is custom prints designed in our Pittsburgh office! This month’s blog features our newest custom print for Fleet Feet Sports, an official Dona Jo retailer, as well as two prints we created for the 2015 and 2016 Pittsburgh Marathon!

Jeremy Stebler, our Senior Graphic Designer at Dona Jo is the man behind the madness of our custom prints. He starts by brainstorming themes and searching for what color palettes are on-trend for the season. His inspiration comes from scouring through all types of magazines and books with patterns and line drawings to get ideas for the style of the print.

Although the prints are designed digitally, they start from rough hand sketches and then are assembled with other graphic treatment to create the initial design. Jeremy creates 2-3 options for the client and after taking their feedback in to consideration he is able to create the final digital files that are passed over to our manufacturer so the products using the custom print can go in to production and fulfillment.
